Amidst everyone's astonishment, Mason Wilson walked in steadily, rather composed, as if he hadn't noticed their unusual reactions.
When he reached his seat, Mason Wilson smiled and said, "Please have a seat, everyone."
These four words seemed to break a spell of frozen time, instantly stirring ripples in the meeting room that expanded rapidly, causing a massive wave of emotions in everyone's hearts.
"President Wilson, have you been promoted at Peace Corporation?" the Clark Family representative asked with a smile.
Though his smile was somewhat unnatural, it was at least not too stiff, and he didn't lose composure much.
At least, he was better than James Reed's group.
In contrast, James Reed's group looked as if they had seen a ghost, staring at Mason Wilson as if they wished he would disappear like a bubble in the next second.
What appeared before them was merely an illusion.
Unfortunately, James Reed's group was destined to be disappointed.
