"Have you finished your work?" Sophie Wilson asked.

"Yeah." Charles Seymour lied bluntly; after all, the work wasn't going anywhere, and doing it later wouldn't hurt. "I'll just brief them quickly."

"Okay." Sophie Wilson nodded and went into the suite to pack her things.

Charles Seymour directly called Jim Perry to give him a rundown.

Jim Perry: "..."

Is it really okay for the boss to constantly skip work and leave tasks unfinished?

"I'll send it to your email after I review it tonight," Charles Seymour instructed in a deep voice.

"Mm, sure, no problem." What could Jim Perry say? If the boss thought it was fine, then it was fine.

However, he couldn't help but ask curiously, "Boss, do you have something very important to attend to?"

This project involved quite a substantial amount of money and profit, and yet none of that could stop his boss from skipping out. What on earth was this about?
