Charles Seymour gazed at Sophie Wilson through the misty steam from the dumplings. Even though he was surrounded by his family back at the Seymour Family's old mansion, he never felt as at ease as he did now.
He secretly stretched out his hand under the table to tug at Sophie Wilson's clothes.
While eating dumplings, Sophie Wilson felt her clothes being tugged. She looked down to see that those beautiful hands were pitifully pulling at a corner of her clothes, like a little puppy wanting to act cute but afraid to anger its owner. It made Sophie Wilson's heart melt completely.
Just as Charles Seymour picked up a dumpling, his chopsticks shook, and with a thud, it fell into the dipping sauce dish.
Mason Wilson and Clarissa Taylor were startled and looked over curiously. Charles Seymour calmly said, "Slipped."
Then, he nonchalantly picked it up again and continued eating.
Mason Wilson looked at Clarissa Taylor curiously and signaled with his eyes, asking what was going on.
