"Hmm, remind the patient to keep his emotions in check," Charles Seymour instructed once more.
"Alright, I'll persuade him," Richard Roscente was already thinking about how to convince his father.
"So, when can I go see my father?" Richard asked again.
"You should ask the ICU doctors, they are in charge of post-operative care," Charles only handled the surgery, not the aftermath.
Upon hearing this, Richard hurriedly got up and went to inquire about it.
Frederick Cole finally let out a sigh of relief, "Thank goodness the surgery went well."
"Yes," Charles nodded slightly.
Frederick couldn't help but laugh, "It's not easy, getting you to lend a hand."
"Sophie respects what he did for the country," Charles replied flatly.
Frederick was speechless for a moment, "If not for Sophie, would you have refused to step in?"
Charles frowned and stared at Frederick, "You do know that wearing this uniform can trigger bad memories for Sophie, don't you?"
