The person was hidden in the darkness, and only a rough silhouette could be made out. He seemed to be a tall man, possibly even taller than himself.
"Excuse me, sir..."
Lu Qilin politely approached, initially thinking the person had just mistaken the car, but before he could finish, the man turned his face towards him.
In the night, the man's eyes glinted with a cold light, like a wolf stalking its prey on the prairie. Even though Lu Qilin was a prominent figure in the legal world, having handled many cases involving formidable individuals and always maintaining his composure, he couldn't help but shiver upon meeting this man's gaze.
