Jiayu glanced towards the kitchen, stunned for a moment.
In the kitchen, Mu Ke's tall figure stood at the stove, wearing an apron gifted to her by friends. It was black, but the issue was that the apron had lace trimming.
She had never used it before, and now it was actually worn by a big man.
Mu Ke skillfully served the dishes from the pot one by one, turned his head, and caught sight of Jiayu standing outside. His cool demeanor showed no reaction as he raised his voice, "Come over and eat if you're awake."
Jiayu thought he had just reheated the food packed from lunch, but upon approaching, she realized it was entirely different.
There were stir-fried shrimp with celery, winter melon and rib soup, along with spicy chicken and a plate of greens — all very common home-cooked dishes. The plating wasn't particularly pretty, but the colors were appealing and looked very appetizing.
Jiayu felt somewhat awkward, finding it hard to believe that a man had actually cooked all this.
