Jiayu finished eating and was sent to sit on the sofa by Mu Ke. She grabbed her phone and found many unread WeChat messages and several missed calls.
The missed calls were all about the interior renovation of the store. Jiayu replied to them, and they were all small issues, which were resolved quickly.
The WeChat messages were from Xue Lu, mainly praising someone's performance at the mall yesterday.
Jiayu read them one by one; there was nothing of significant value, just saying how Mu Ke's performance was incredibly boyfriend-like, and the expressions of Xin Ke and Su Wan that seemed like they had swallowed flies.
When she reached the last message, Jiayu was taken aback.
"A man like this, one in a hundred! If you don't snag him, your face would be letting you down."
Jiayu stared at the message for a few seconds, then looked up at Mu Ke tidying up in the kitchen.
On impulse, Jiayu lifted her phone and took a picture of Mu Ke's back, then sent it to Xue Lu.
