When Herbert landed back on the ground and retracted his wings, Nenasha asked with a teasing smile:
"Had enough fun?"
"Not enough, not nearly enough."
Herbert shook his head, though his mouth said it wasn't enough, the joy emanating from him was obvious.
Flying.
When the first ancient ape looked up at the sky, humanity planted the dream of "flying" deep within their bloodline.
And when he finally possessed the ability to fly, the excitement in Herbert's heart was truly indescribable.
"But I think you might be happy a bit too soon."
"Oh?"
Herbert squinted his eyes, not understanding what he meant… Is there a flaw in this ability other than its short duration?
But just as he was pondering the shortcomings of the wings, the Evil God gave an unexpected answer.
"Have you not realized that this is not a power provided by the Fallen Angel's Feather?"
