Chapter 30 - wa R(121)

I'd rather not play battleships from my bed,

With government suits waging war in my head.

"Back out now!" I shout, waving my white sheet,

Can't you see I just want to nap and eat?

You push your red buttons, you posture and glare,

But my pajamas are ready for peace, not warfare.

Your policies drone on, your speeches are long,

But I'm busy binge-watching and humming my song.

So take your big battleships, park them elsewhere,

I'd rather count sheep than declare an affair.

If you want to play war, take it outside—

I'm building a pillow fort where I can hide.

Come on now, government, give it a rest,

Let's settle our issues with snacks and a jest.

The only campaign I want in my room

Is for takeout and memes—now please, let me snooze!
