Chapter 159 - Devil who cannot distinguish between hunger and lust

Roy couldn't find any introductory books on Black Magic in the library.

Compared to the well-established system of White Magic, Black Magic appeared more obscure and secretive; the related works were either hard to understand or scattered and unfocused.

She reluctantly picked a few books and returned to her dwelling.

Sermias had already finished cleaning inside and outside the attic, leaving only the courtyard untouched. Soto was lying under a lush maple tree, impatiently swatting its tail to drive away the chirping sparrows.

Having paid for board and lodging, it wasn't long before a staff member delivered dinner.

Of course, Soto couldn't eat this. Roy paid extra to have the kitchen regularly supply wild bird meat for it.

After dinner, she finally had time to rest.

Roy removed the bandage wrapped around her chest and touched her shortened hair a little uncomfortably. She bathed in the refurbished bathroom and came out wrapped only in a towel, her damp hair dripping water.
