After a day of tedious classes, with books filled with notes, Roy once again came to Kara's study.
Six o'clock in the afternoon was their regular meeting time. Unlike the previous day, tonight Kara was not by the fireplace but sitting cross-legged on the floor, testing something amidst a pile of messy books and Magic Stones. Her long auburn hair loosely tied back, she wore only a thin top and silk shorts, her full curves in plain view.
Seeing Roy, she did not get up to greet her and casually tossed a book over, then ignored her.
Roy softly thanked her and, as usual, sat in the corner by the window, quietly perusing the old book Kara had given her. The content of the book was still the theory of Black Magic construction, similar to her class textbooks, but every page was marked with red symbols and annotations.
