"Well, I'll head over there for some dessert, I'm a bit hungry."
Jiang Tong waved at Qiao Mou and walked straight to the dessert table not far from her.
The dessert table was filled with a variety of pastries. Jiang Tong casually picked up a piece of Black Forest cake and began eating it with small bites using a fork.
The etiquette she had been trained in since childhood seemed to be ingrained in her, making her movements while eating the cake appear very graceful.
"Oh, is this a country bumpkin trying to eat cake like a city person?"
Suddenly, an especially unpleasant voice rang out, belonging to Julia.
Seeing Julia swaggering over, Jiang Tong raised an eyebrow and scooped a small bite of cake into her mouth.
Seeing her unfazed by the mocking, Julia scoffed, "What's the matter, country bumpkin? Not gonna say a word, are you admitting you're from the countryside?"
"No—" Jiang Tong blinked, pretending to look at Julia with a bewildered innocence.
