Following the direction of the sound, he discovered a hidden chamber. The room was filled with a thick scent of blood, and there were several corpses lying on the ground. Their bodies were twisted and deformed, with expressions of terror on their faces.
Shen Jingqi's heart jolted; he realized he might have encountered danger once again. He cautiously stepped into the room, trying to find the source of the sound.
Just then, a dark figure leapt out from the corner of the room, attacking him. Shen Jingqi reacted swiftly, dodging the shadow's assault by sidestepping.
As he focused his gaze, he discovered the dark figure was a person. Their eyes were filled with madness and murderous intent, and they held a sharp dagger in their hand.
