Dai Sha got off the vehicle with an air of bravado. After surveying the area, he fled towards the south where there were fewer Zombies.
But his attempt to escape was thwarted as the creatures immediately switched to chase mode, tightly following him.
Both sides, humans and zombies alike, moved forward with all their might. Fortunately, the vast majority of "walking corpses" were drawn into the Yuhuan Gymnasium, so there weren't many Zombies along the way to obstruct Dai Sha.
This rekindled a spark of hope in his otherwise despairing mind.
One street, two streets, three streets, even Dai Sha himself didn't know how many streets he had run through. Nevertheless, despite his efforts and relentless perseverance, the creatures behind him clung on like a persistent plague.
"Goddamn it! Get lost! Get the hell away from me! Keep following me and I'll fucking shoot!"
