On the Dawn Continent, before Alice could stir up trouble for him, Shen Sui devised an intense special forces-style training regimen for her. Although it wouldn't help Alice advance in realm, it would at least enhance her combat experience, so she wouldn't have to rely on bluffing in everything she did.
Having done all that, Shen Sui didn't have much to do in the Soul Card World. With some elemental follower cards at hand that Yue Tao needed, he invited him out to complete the trade they had previously agreed upon.
All of these were elemental creatures summoned by Andori, and they weren't of much use to Shen Sui because his deck ultimately only allowed life card followers, leaving no room for these elemental followers.
