Seeing that just a few more turns and she'll be able to see the edge of the North Slope, Beisitian helplessly pauses her steps once more, looking at the big wolfdog, panting heavily with its tongue hanging out but still stubbornly following her. She really is a bit exasperated.
The wolfdog, seeing Beisitian turn back, whines softly, its eyes surprisingly carrying a pleading look.
Beisitian looks up at the sky at a forty-five-degree angle, "Following me is useless, I don't know how to deliver babies, let alone puppies!"
That's right, this wolfdog wants her to help deliver puppies!
This wolfdog is indeed very smart. It knows that although it has barely survived, its severe injuries have not yet healed, and it lacks the strength to give birth. But it just happens to be the time for delivery, and Beisitian is the only human who can help it, especially since this human had just saved it!
