Seeing this, Beisitian was no longer even a bit afraid, only full of speechlessness, and moreover, felt that this 'female ghost' was somewhat silly!
Beisitian remained silent, just watching the 'female ghost' kick the stool three times. She certainly wasn't planning to go out, wanting to see how many more times she could kick it.
However, she was quite amazed; the female ghost, with the white silk tightened around her waist, managed to keep balanced while hanging in the air. How did she do that?
After kicking it the third time, the 'female ghost' realized there was still no reaction from inside the room. She simply yanked off the white silk, placed her hands on her hips, and faced Beisitian's room, seemingly very angry.
The 'female ghost' didn't continue further. She quietly placed the stool under the windowsill, put away the white silk, and walked towards the northwest corner of the courtyard, never to appear again.
