Chapter 114 - Chapter 114: This Spring Night

The first day of February.

Even though the cold wind remains, and the firm ice still floats on the sea, the warmth of spring is already pushing its way through.

For instance, in the garden, the seeds sown last year now seem to be showing signs of sprouting.

Sofia squatted in the garden, absentmindedly observing the slightly raised soil.

She had planted a violet seed there, and if it sprouted, it would blossom into a beautiful flower.

But where was her flower?

Ever since winning that lawsuit, she hadn't seen Ethan for nearly two days.

When she called, Ethan only said that he had many things to attend to these days and might have to take a trip, so he might not be able to come for the tutoring sessions these days.

She could understand that the lawsuit had caused Ethan significant trouble and he indeed had a lot of follow-up work to do, but she really wanted to see him.

Because spring was approaching.

The flowers were about to bloom.
