The plaque reading "Jinyu Wang Family" hung over the door, with majestic stone lions guarding it. The vigilant guardians stood tall and proud, and beyond the shadow wall and the reception room lay an exceptionally grand incense hall.
On either side of the incense hall were couplets. The first line read "A house of gold and jade inherits ancestral virtue," and the second line read "Clad in imperial glory, looking up to divine grace."
Inside the incense hall, on a vermilion shrine, stood a divine statue carved in beautiful jade. The deity held a sword in one hand and a banner in the other, surrounded by purple lightning, standing on a giant black-and-white dragon — truly exuding boundless might and majesty.
The Wang family's grandmother was gleefully leaning on her cane, watching a young boy bowing and burning incense in front of the statue, sincerely performing a three-kowtow ceremony.
