Chapter 128 - Chapter 39: Chance Encounter

The discarded axe blade bounced off the body of the heat-melting axe. Yan Luo silently installed a new blade.

Today marked his fifth day in the Abyss. Supplies were severely depleted; fewer than two hundred bullets remained, grenades were exhausted, only eleven stun grenades were left, and though some landmines remained, they were not plentiful.

The demon tide was approaching. The activity of the demons had become much more intense. Yan Luo didn't even need to deliberately hunt for their tracks; they would just leap out before him.

In these past few days, Yan Luo had barely finished one battle and had no time to reinstall spent equipment before other demons emerged.

In these five days, Yan Luo's longest nonstop combat session must have been five hours; if it were an Engraver, they'd have long since collapsed from exhaustion.
