Being able to walk out of this courtyard, Bai Yiran certainly wouldn't refuse. It was a perfect opportunity to observe the outside environment and look for an escape route.
Wu Chengzu and Bai Yiran walked into the courtyard, where Yao Zhiqing was standing with Da Lin, discussing something unknown. Both their expressions were not great. Seeing them come out, the two stopped their conversation.
Wu Chengzu ignored the two of them and directly told Jia to open the courtyard gate.
"Why are you opening the door?" Yao Zhiqing asked.
"I'm planning to take her for a walk up the mountain," Wu Chengzu replied cheerfully.
"What!" Yao Zhiqing stepped in front of Wu Chengzu, blocking his way, "Just the two of you?"
"Yes." Wu Chengzu pushed past Yao Zhiqing and continued to walk out.
Yao Zhiqing followed again, "No, I don't agree! You can take her out, but at least take two people with you. What if she runs away?"
