This Ge Dan Ni, she's quite clever. She knows if she asks Gu Lingling to introduce her to someone, she'd definitely refuse.
Besides, Gu Lingling doesn't know many people, so who knows what kind of person she could introduce.
But Yang Yunhai is different. Generally, anyone who catches Yang Yunhai's eye is someone with a promising future in the military.
Marrying someone like that would mean a great future for her in the military too.
Because there's an unwritten rule in the military that if both partners are soldiers, as long as one of them is still in the military, the other won't be prioritized for being discharged or demobilized, unless they submit a report themselves.
In other words, one can stay in the military as long as the other does.
And if she finds someone at those social gatherings, they won't be as outstanding as someone introduced by Yang Yunhai.
Would she want to marry an ordinary soldier?
If she had just joined the military recently, maybe she would agree.
