Ten minutes later, the zombies stopped advancing, leaving behind a pile of zombie corpses.

In the tunnel, there were thousands of zombie corpses stacked haphazardly, with black and red blood forming a nauseating river of blood.

Any devout vegetarian monk, upon seeing this battlefield, would likely get so excited they'd wet their pants.

The soldiers, fighting fatigue, weaved through the pile of corpses, cautiously collecting bodies and loot.

If they suspected any zombie wasn't fully dead, or if its head looked too intact, they would have to deliver a fatal blow to confirm its end.

This was Lesson One that Lin Yi had taught them.

"There's a giant white rat here!" A soldier's cry shattered the dead silence.

With his shout, a mutant rat the size of a house cat darted out from the corpse pile, startling the nearby soldiers into retreating.

Lin Yi immediately realized the severity of the situation.
