Upon hearing Leng Yueshuang's words, Zhu Yan grew tense. She immediately took two steps back and stared at Leng Yueshuang with a wary expression. Sun Zhe's relationship with Leng Yueshuang wasn't a secret to Zhu Yan, as he told her everything. She just couldn't understand why, out of the blue, Leng Yueshuang would show up at their home to fight him. Did they have a falling out?
Seeing Zhu Yan's startled expression, Leng Yueshuang felt a pang of guilt, realizing she must have been misunderstood. She forced a smile onto her face. "You've misunderstood, Sis. I'm here to cultivate with him."
"Oh... Cultivation. So that's what it is." Zhu Yan's heart eased a bit, and she let out a few dry laughs. "You came in here looking so cold and said you wanted to fight him. You really scared me... I thought you two had some kind of conflict."
"My apologies," Leng Yueshuang chuckled. "It was a poor choice of words."
