For these rebellious teenagers, whether they're speaking arrogantly or wearing strange outfits, Li Yan mostly felt disgusted in his heart. As long as they didn't provoke him, it had nothing to do with him, and he would never say much.
But when the girl named Little D finished speaking, the others seemed to become excited, as if pumped with adrenaline, as if they had found an amusing excuse. Then he saw Little D either being pushed to the back or retreating on her own. Li Yan suspected this wasn't accidental; it was a premeditated collision!
Of course, premeditated doesn't necessarily mean it's a conspiracy against him; perhaps they just wanted to have fun, and he happened to crash into them. What they wanted was an excuse to cause trouble, beat someone up, smash a car; for them, it was just fun.
As Li Yan squinted slightly and stared, several guys had already gathered around him. One went to grab Li Yan's arm, another went for his throat, and yet another launched a kick directly at him!
Since it was already like this, Li Yan wouldn't obediently be a tool for them to have fun. He suddenly struck back, late but swift, grabbing the neck of the one who tried to choke him and slapped him hard across the face, causing that person to feel a buzzing in his ears and directly faint...
The person holding Li Yan's shoulder was surprised to find it felt like he was giving him a massage, having no effect at all. Meanwhile, another guy's kick landed on Li Yan's leg, but he showed no reaction.
Casually throwing the fainted person to the ground, he then looked at the young man who had kicked him.
"You like using your feet, huh?"
"No..." Seeing his companion knocked out, the man was already feeling guilty.
Li Yan said nothing and kicked out, hitting his abdomen with unavoidable speed, sending him flying backward and crashing into a girl who hadn't approached, and they both fell beside a sports car.
"You're the last one."
As quick as the change happened, it was almost within seconds. The person pressing on Li Yan's shoulder was a bit stunned. Seeing Li Yan talk, he quickly let go and tried to run. But Li Yan had already made his move, grabbed his shoulder, threw him over, and slammed him onto the red car, then yanked his fluffy golden hair toward the collision spot.
"Looks like the paint's chipped; let's use your blood to color it back!"
His head being pulled up, seemingly about to be slammed onto the hood, the man instantly panicked, thinking he'd be concussed.
"No!"
Two surprised shouts rang out simultaneously.
One was from Little D, the girl who had stepped back to watch, only a few seconds had passed, and the situation had drastically changed, which was unexpected for her. Seeing things getting serious, she hurriedly shouted.
The other was a guy in a sports car, who hadn't gotten out until then. Unable to hold back, he shouted and got out of the car.
Li Yan looked at them and sneered.
"Let him go; it's my fault, okay?" Little D said, stepping forward.
The other guy also stepped forward quickly; he was the most normally dressed among them. "Sorry, we're blind and ignorant. Please consider they're still minors, spare them this time! I apologize on their behalf."
As he spoke, he had already opened his wallet, pulled out a stack of money, and handed it over: "I'm really sorry for scraping your car; this is compensation for you to get it fixed."
The other girls hurriedly went to help the fainted and knocked-down guys. The one Li Yan grabbed by the hair, lying on the sports car, felt extremely uncomfortable and wouldn't dare move at all.
"Minors, huh?" Li Yan sneered: "Each one fully grown, still calling them kids? Raised on feed and hormones?"
The man's face changed but held back, awkwardly smiling: "Please, big brother, give us some face!"
Everyone fell silent. Although they often toyed with and teased others, they had never encountered something like today. However, in movies and novels, people like this usually aren't swayed by money and insist on justice.
Yet, at this moment, Li Yan reached out and took the stack of money from the man. He pulled the man down and pushed him back.
"I'll give you face, but this is their apology for offending me."
"Yes, yes." The man hastily supported his trembling friend.
"The crash also requires her to apologize and pay for the car repairs!" Li Yan glared at the girl named Little D and lit a cigarette.
His aura was overpowering. Just a few seconds had passed and he'd already taken down three people. The others were still intimidated by his presence; even without a hostage, no one dared to resist.
"I, I... I've already said it's my fault..." Little D was still indignant, having feared for her friend's blood being splattered on the car hood earlier, but now with no threat, she didn't want to apologize to such a loathsome guy.
Seeing Li Yan just staring at her smoking, she couldn't help but feel a bit anxious, that gaze made her feel as if she were naked and seen through.
The slightly older and mature man also hurriedly gave Little D a look, urging her, "Little D, for my sake, apologize to this gentleman!"
"Hmph..." Already flustered, Little D feared the guy would go mad and hit her, so she reluctantly said, "Sorry!"
She then went to the car window, took out her wallet, pulled out a stack of money, and handed it to Li Yan. Gritting her teeth, she said, "Sir, this is for you to fix your car! You can repair it properly!"
She cursed silently in her heart: Extortion! Blatant extortion! Oppressing the weak! Your lousy car, how much does a new one cost anyway!
Li Yan took it unceremoniously, blew out a puff of smoke in her face, and sneered: "Next time, use your brain more, stop playing brainless games!"
"Cough, cough... You, you... I..." Choked by the smoke and insulted as brainless, Little D almost went berserk, another girl quickly came over and pulled her away.
"Move this trash car! Help me push the car over here; let's just leave it at that. If you want revenge, feel free." Li Yan continued smoking, casually instructing.
"Why would we want revenge, it's our fault..."
The guy hurried Little D to move her car back and clear the way, then called the other girls, leaving the injured guys, to come together and push Li Yan's partially moved car back.
Li Yan took a deep drag, flicked away the cigarette butt, and drove off in his inconspicuous QQ.
Everyone watched as the QQ left, with the guy who got out last showing a solemn expression, Little D fuming, among the girls, two secretly swooned, thinking this was a real man compared to the few beside them! Of course, they couldn't say it out loud. The three who were beaten, one still unconscious, the other two humiliated.
After waking the unconscious one, the man said faintly, "Help them up, let's go to the hospital."
"Damn it! Tian Ci, we can't just let this go!"
"Yeah, screw the hospital, let's call a group, and tonight we'll drag that guy out and beat him to death!"
Still angry, Little D said, "This is a huge humiliation, I won't let him off!"
Little D's status was evidently different from the other girls; she ranked considerably within their group.
Tian Ci sighed: "Stop causing trouble! I was already against you guys playing such games, you got played today, right? Besides having some money and being able to call people over, what do we have? The car blocked the road, didn't he see or think of it? His recklessness shows he doesn't regard your family status at all! People like this... if not wealthier than your family, then they're influential. And you all saw his personal strength and ruthlessness... Best not to mess with him!"
This speech made their arrogance diminish quite a bit, but they still wouldn't admit defeat.
"Damn it! Driving some shabby car, can't stand those pretending-to-be-low-key rich kids!"
"I'm ruthless too, next time I see him, I'll beat him till his mother doesn't recognize him!"
"You better not faint next time before saying that!"
Seeing Little D silent, but her eyes clearly not planning to give up, Tian Ci frowned and shook his head secretly.
