Walking out of the private room, Nancy Carter heard the strange voice of Eleanor Spencer on the phone, and her face changed. From the intermittent sound on the phone, she recognized they were in the bathroom...
Thinking of a certain possibility, Nancy didn't stop walking and saw two people guarding the bathroom door.
They stopped her as she approached.
Nancy said sharply, "Don't think I don't know what you're doing. I've already called the police. Do you know how many years you could be sentenced for the heinous crime of rape in our country? Do you want to become accomplices? If not, get out of my way!"
The two looked at each other and made way for her.
Nancy pushed past them, kicked the door open, and upon seeing the horrific scene inside, her eyes filled with bloodshot lines. She strode forward to support Eleanor Spencer and took off her coat to cover her.
Eleanor's legs were weak, and she could only lean on Nancy.
