Aurelia turned around, her eyes narrowing without a trace of emotion, "Is there a problem?"
The slight lift at the end of her sentence carried a hint of danger.
The sight of her narrowed eyes, as if blossoming peach flowers, made Sophia Evans feel an itch in her heart.
"There's a matter that requires your cooperation." As soon as Sophia's words fell, several women began to approach Aurelia.
Aurelia stepped back half a step.
They rushed forward; some grabbed Aurelia's wrists, others locked her arms around her neck. Though they weren't professionally trained assassins, some were imprisoned for murder, their strength and movements fierce. Sophia approached with a damp towel in hand.
Aurelia kicked one of them away and slapped the wrist of another who was trying to hold her down. Her cold eyes glanced at Sophia, she captured her wrist and locked it, wrapping the damp towel around her neck.
"Stay back! Anyone who dares step closer, I'll strangle her!" Aurelia shouted.
