After a night of deep sleep, the first rays of morning sun filtered through the window lattice, falling onto Luo Chen's face. He opened his eyes, gazing at the sunlight outside, feeling an inexplicable joy in his heart. He turned his head to look at the place where Thunderstorm slept, only to find it already empty.
Luo Chen quickly flipped off the bed, looking around to find any trace of Thunderstorm. "Where did he go?" Luo Chen couldn't help but feel puzzled. However, when he looked down to check his body, heavily injured last night, he was astonished to find that the wound which should have been excruciatingly painful, felt no more pain!
What is going on? Last night he was so weak he couldn't move, but after just one night, all the injuries had miraculously healed? Luo Chen incredulously checked his body all over, feeling no pain, and even the original wounds had faded to faint bruises. He gently touched these bruises, filled with shock and joy.
