"Where do you think you're going!" Huyan Sheng saw Luo Chen trying to escape, and immediately flew into a rage. He lifted his Jili Gu Duo, pounding heavily on the ground with each step, and sprinted wildly in the direction Luo Chen had disappeared. His face was contorted and terrifying, as if he wanted to swallow Luo Chen whole and alive.
However, at that moment, a thunderous sound suddenly erupted. "Boom," and it seemed as though the entire world shook. Luo Chen only felt a tremendous power strike his chest, his whole body was violently flung out like a bullet. His body carved a long arc through the air, then crashed heavily to the ground, blood trickling alarmingly from the corner of his mouth.
Soldiers quickly dodged, revealing a tall, cloth-clad middle-aged man amongst them. He stood like a mountain, exuding a strong aura, as if he controlled the entire battlefield.
