In the gradually descending downpour, the rich scent of blood slowly permeated. Two figures rode their spirited horses up the hill, looking down from their vantage point at the fierce battle between the two armies. Though their numbers were not many, each side with just a few hundred warriors, they fought fiercely and bravely. The male and female warriors excelled at mounted archery and charging. Due to the rain, their bows were affected, forcing them to draw their battle blades and spears for close combat.
Lightning illuminated Duncan's sharply defined profile as he gazed at the Dragon Head Banner, still standing proudly on the battlefield amidst the storm. For a moment, his expression turned absent-minded, as if recalling the years of campaigning in Europe.
