Chapter 33 - Chapter 29: Choosing the Ant-Man Race

Is your strength in your brain?

Odyssey showed a hint of hesitation and disappointment.

Any martial artist would rely more on tangible hard power.

For example, sharp claws, tough scales, sharp beaks... these are equivalent to intimate weapons that become stronger with the body.

That's what truly powerful creatures are!

Any strong martial artist knows how important a handy weapon is; fighting barehanded is completely different from wielding a sharp blade.

"A weapon is the head? How can a hard head be used as a blunt weapon to strike enemies?" Odyssey couldn't help but ask in confusion.

Huh?

Using the head as a weapon, what kind of person would think like that?

Fu Qingjun also froze for several seconds before he realized this line of thinking.

Thinking it through, it is indeed understandable and even expected to think that way.

The civilization structure of this world is too simple.

Its development history is brief, characterized by straightforward and pure violence, lacking this kind of understanding.

Currently, they believe that this species uses their heads as weapons, leading them to assume the combat power is certainly low, at most a kind of primitive offensive weapon, which is already good... no need to expect too much.

"Yes, it's about using the brain as a weapon, but not literally using the brain as a weapon."

Having thought it through, Fu Qingjun simply smiled and said directly, "You will transition to part of this species' structure, having only a soft body, with weaker strength, no claws, no fangs, no scales... just a lump of unprotected flesh, nothing that can be used as a weapon, yet capable of having any weapon."

"How is that possible?"

Odyssey showed an increasingly shocked expression, "This creature, appearing as a lump of soft flesh without any armor, how could it possess any weapon?"

He simply couldn't understand something that surpassed his comprehension; clearly without weapons, yet able to possess any weapon?

This was just silly.

"Their weapon is here."

Fu Qingjun seriously pointed to his head, gently smiled, and said, "This type of race doesn't have weapons that come from their own hard organs, but instead seeks external hard objects as weapons, always able to improve, with limitless possibilities."

"Weapons with limitless possibilities, are created by this species themselves?" Odyssey showed a look of yearning.

There are weapons in this world.

For the use of weapons is the nature of any intelligent life, but the weapons are simple, almost non-existent, limited to attacking with bits of wood that can be found everywhere.

On this table, let alone metal, not even minerals, stones, or bones... none of these high-hardness weapon tools are present, so in their understanding, weapons are extremely fragile, the body is the strongest weapon.

"Of course, the strength of this civilization is the most uncertain."

Fu Qingjun said, "I am merely teaching you the spark, guiding you in the initial usage, whether you can match the other four inherently powerful species with blades, depends on you, those of you on the ground."

"Can you tell me, what do the weapons roughly look like?" Odyssey cautiously asked.

Fu Qingjun thought for a moment, then simply replied, "Knives, spears, staffs, rods, swords."

He casually sketched the approximate shapes of the weapons on the ground, indicating that these weapons have a higher hardness than biological bones or claws.

After all, most creatures' bodies and bones couldn't withstand metal weapons.

Odyssey also listened with incomparable excitement, "But the materials you mentioned..."

"I can also trade materials with you," Fu Qingjun addressed the last concern.

"I am willing!"

Odyssey's eyes lit up with blazing fire, "If possible, please let the new powerful beings from the surrounding tribes also undergo the life-level leap!"

Fu Qingjun nodded, not surprised.

Quickly, Odyssey brought back companions from all directions.

Almost half of the ordinary creatures on the ground gathered here, entering this tribe, sitting in a huge flat square, accepting the baptism of a new species.

Each of them integrated into the bloodline of new life, their entire heads transforming and fracturing.

Soon, a semi-human head gradually grew out, with a prominent gene sequence of the human soul, although not a fully modern human face, it was similar to primitive apemen, and a rather deformed primitive apeman with very prominent ant mandibles.

Also, due to different fusion degrees and directions, none of their appearances were completely identical, in weird shapes like various random hybrids of ants and humans.

"We did it!"

"I feel my limits being elevated!"

"Thank you so much! You came from a higher-dimensional civilization, willing to help our low-level civilization, newly endowed with the foundation of fusion and wisdom."

"This way, we creatures on the ground also have the power to protect ourselves."

The surroundings were filled with cheers, with utmost reverence and passion.

Fu Qingjun smiled to motion them, observing from a distance, while continuously recording this experiment:

"They carried out their own fusion, and the success rate is similar to before."

"The answer is obvious; we humans don't have significant advantages or stronger transformations over other animals, belonging to the same biological level, hence the fusion difficulty is consistent."

"With the distortion of souls, their bodies began to gradually exhibit corresponding soul appearance deformities, mutations, disabilities... like cross-breeding between lions and tigers in zoos, or the offspring of horses and donkeys, mules."

"Such first-generation transgenic organisms have significant genetic defects, likely very unstable."

"One could say they are incomplete, but they are already independent new species, which will stabilize their life structures through their offspring, forming the subhuman ant species."

Practicing martial arts is the continuous stimulation of one's body potential, bones, and harmonization... within a few generations, Fu Qingjun had no doubt that a new transgenic species would soon stabilize and take shape.

"However, the incompleteness of the first generation is necessary, without incomplete ancestors, there wouldn't be later glorious descendants."

Just like the ape ancestors of humans millions of years ago, if they hadn't adapted and harmonized within their incompleteness, we humans as a species wouldn't dominate the Earth today.

Fu Qingjun kept organizing these notes, that little girl never imagined that her soul's DNA would create a new race.

In a sense, she is the great ancestor of this ant-human race!

It was she who shared a part of her soul, creating new life.

"Even if she goes bald, she should be proud of it."

Fu Qingjun didn't want to use his own soul DNA because he himself had become unlike a human, it seemed that his six thousand soul overlays turned into an unknown creature, with DNA sequences blurred and mysterious, also changing his body.

Therefore, he couldn't merge with them, only seeking a truly ordinary human species...

"Truly, thank you!"

"You granted us a distant future!"

The beings of this era were incredibly sincere, they were very joyously grateful to him, conversing with him, this mysterious being from other higher-level civilizations.

"And what must we give?" Odyssey appeared very rational.

He was very smart.

Before he asked what the other party could give them and not what price they needed to pay, because he thought he had nothing to lose, as long as the other party could offer something enticing, all demands could be accepted, even if it meant their death, sacrificing their people, or various unreasonable requests.

"What I want, is merely a portion of the forged weapons," Fu Qingjun said with a gentle smile, "This demand, should not be excessive."

They were instantly amazed, their eyes filled with fervent gratitude and admiration, for they clearly understood that this was almost a gift.
