In a Carbon-Based Civilization, if it doesn't follow the 'Biological Civilization Route' but the 'Technological Civilization Route', it will ultimately face a problem.

That is, as technology penetrates every aspect of society, people become increasingly dependent on technology and on AI.

This increases the likelihood of a 'Mechanical Revolution'.

This is similar to the extensive use of 'Clones', which can lead to clone rebellions; the extensive use of 'AI', causing massive unemployment; the use of 'Space Technology', increasing the risk of invasion by Space Species.

Whatever is gained, something must be lost.

This is also a threshold that a civilization inevitably has to cross.

But the Galen Republic is somewhat special.

Its uniqueness lies in the fact that as humanoid creatures among carbon-based species, they have too much metal element in their bodies.
