Evelyn~
"Evelyn!" A loud voice—probably Rael's and Theron's—pulled me out of that vision. I gasped softly and almost fell, but Zevian caught my hands just in time.
When I looked into his eyes, it seemed like he already knew what I had just seen. However, before I could say anything, the commotion caused by Rael and Theron made me furrow my brows.
"Evelyn! Did that bastard hurt you?!" Rael shouted. "WHY THE HELL ARE YOU TOUCHING HER HANDS?!"
"Why can't I break this damn barrier?!" Theron yelled in frustration.
Their shouts made me realize that Zevian and I were inside a magical dome, while they were outside.
No wonder they hadn't run to me earlier.
"They're really noisy, aren't they?" Zevian tilted his head, hissing softly as Rael and Theron kept barking like wild dogs. "I can take you somewhere quieter if you want."
