Chapter 3 - Opening move

After the ceremony Ravenna was led by the royal court that night to the heart of all the realm, to meet the emperor for the solemn oath of allegiance.

"The Tarot Empire"

Born of no origin the tarot family ruled over the realm by establishing factions for the people.

The first emergence is believed to be by celestial beings named Mante Von Tarot and his twin brother Nayan Von Tarot. The founders of the kingdom.

The Tarot family were blessed with exceptional power, skills and talents as well as the ability to excel in whatever they do but was cursed to never bring forth female children. The family tried many times to change this but failed, each wife taken ever since the first generation only bore sons and never daughters.

The rulers of the realm sat in their thrones exuding an aura of pure unmatched authority and power.

The five pillars as they were called consisting of the fifth prince Axion, the general whose military prowess was beyond impeccable. At eighteen, he looked like he had faced and defeated death many times. He oozed power and confidence.

His short white hair on beautiful dark skin made him look enchantingly handsome but those eyes glowed with a dangerous intensity. He sat on the far left and

the fourth prince Wreck, who handled the realms diplomatic affairs sat right beside his younger brother.

They were the perfect contrast to each other's personality.

Wreck was a gentle soul and a master of alchemy.

He had long white hair that cascaded all the way to his feet like he didn't have a care in the world.

He expertly managed the states affairs without any errors since he was ten.

And to the right of the throne room sat the second and third Prince

Mist and Shadow

The twins of the Tarot family.

The most talented mages in the history of the realm. They were one of the kingdoms many mysteries. The first ever twins born to the tarot empire after it's founders.

Mist and Shadow were often invisible to the empire as they only appear on grand occasions like this. Their faces were always covered with masks and they wore dark robes as if to hide their existence. Nobody knew why, but it was rumored that anyone who so much as gets a glimpse of their faces will die on the spot.

And at the centre of it all, standing Infront of the imperial throne,

The emperor of the realm Over lord Khaios von tarot thirteenth star of the glorious generation.

Born in the eye of a storm by the late queen Mahika the benevolent.

Khaios stood at a great seven feet with long white hair and the signature dark skin of the Tarot empire. His glowing blue eyes pierced through the room like a sharp arrow aiming at a target.

He exuded a unique aura screaming authority and making his incredible brothers pale in comparison.

Khaios wore a golden suit of armor with a dark fur pelt over his shoulders.

Signifying his leadership as the over lord of the empire.

The castle hall was quiet. Candlelight flickered against the stained glass windows, making long shadows on the floor. It was late at night. The stars outside looked like they were watching from above and the moon light heightened the majestic ceremony.

The marble floor was cold and shiny, black and white like a chessboard. Everything felt too perfect, like the room was waiting for something big to happen.

The voice of the announcer cuts through

Your Royal Majesties,

I present to you the queens of the various sub kingdoms.

From the north, Nova walked in first her gown imbedded with diamonds trailing behind her reflecting the moonlight as she gracefully walked in. She didn't rush. She didn't need to. She held her head high and looked straight ahead. Her dark skin creating a beautiful contrast to her diamond royal coronet and her gorgeous black locs.

There was something cold in her eyes, like she'd already decided she was above everyone here. She didn't say a word, but she didn't have to. Her silence said enough.

The announcer continued
