It's a perfect Nettlehusk morning. Smoggy sunshine, the smell of ore-dust and fresh bread in the air, and dozens of different merchants yelling at the team in different accents.
They stroll through the town square, enjoying the bustling energy. Pip beeps softly with each step, admiring rows of market stalls stacked with everything from gleaming steel to glittering lingerie.
At the edge of the market district stands a grand house with white stone walls, stained-glass windows, and a steep sloping roof. A banner flutters from a second-floor balcony.
Vuvi stops in front of the tall iron gate, stretching with satisfaction. "Here she is."
"Our headquarters for the next two weeks," Veena adds, brushing her silver-streaked hair behind her ear. "Welcome to the future of structured debauchery."
The building stands proud and noble. For now.
Sera folds her arms. "It looks a little… responsible."
"Not for long," Vuvi grins.
