Chapter 41 - "The Crushing Defeat."

-----

-----

"Zoki… damn it! Wind Style: Vacuum Bullet!"

"Fire Style: Dragon Flame Bomb!"

"Earth Style: Earth Flow River!"

After seeing Hayato smash one of their jonin teammates to death with a single punch, the Konoha ninja were completely shocked and terrified.

They started throwing jutsu like candy, unleashing them in rapid succession, trying to bring Hayato down. Honestly, they'd already given up the idea of killing him—at this point, they just wanted to take him down somehow.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Wind Style jutsu hit Hayato's body with loud bangs, but all it did was make him sway slightly—didn't even scratch him.

Then came the Fire Style—Hayato just punched it straight on and shattered the flame apart with sheer brute force. As for the Earth Style? He stomped right through it, crushing it like dried mud.

"Partial Expansion Jutsu!" As Hayato transformed into the towering Hulk, Akimichi Torikaze from the Akimichi clan shouted and activated his own jutsu. His body ballooned in size instantly, growing huge—so huge he could go head-to-head in size with Hayato.

"Human Boulder!" Combining it with his jutsu, Torikaze curled his massive body into a ball and, with a thunderous rumble, rolled straight at Hayato like a giant boulder out of nowhere.

Hayato was swatting away jutsu left and right, but then the Nara clan's shadow jutsu caught him and froze him in place. And just as that happened, the massive Torikaze was rolling in fast. But after turning into the Hulk, Hayato's power was on a whole different level—completely beyond human limits.

With a furious roar, BOOM!, Hayato broke free from the shadow bind with sheer strength.

At that exact moment, Torikaze's massive rolling body came crashing in.

Hayato roared again, slammed his right foot into the ground, stomping so hard he left a crater behind. He raised that leg up, then launched it forward with full force—just like a soccer kick. His foot smashed straight into Torikaze's giant body.

BOOM!!

Torikaze, in his giant boulder form, was sent flying like a cannonball. He soared for hundreds of meters before crashing into a massive rock with a deafening explosion, smashing it to rubble.

His enormous body began to shrink, returning to normal… but his insides had been completely destroyed by that brutal kick. He lay there, eyes empty, staring up at the sky as he took his last breath.

"Torikaze! Damn it!"The Nara clan ninja, who had already burned through most of their chakra using the shadow jutsu, were exhausted. But after seeing Torikaze kicked to death like that, their eyes went bloodshot with rage. Still, behind that anger was fear… and helplessness.

But Hayato didn't care about their emotions at all. At this point, all he wanted to do was kill—kill all these bastards who dared to ambush him, who dared to attack him, who dared to injure him.

If it hadn't been for the Hulk's unique physiology, he'd be dead already from that sneak attack.

BOOM!

A massive fist, the size of a water tank, came crashing down and smashed a ninja deep into the ground. If not for the blood and shredded clothing left behind, no one would've even known someone had been there.

A huge hand opened up and slapped down hard—SPLAT! Blood oozed between the fingers as it crushed a jonin like a fly.

A foot stomped down, pinning and crushing a ninja who'd tried to dig his way underground for a sneak attack. All that was left was a splash of blood.

As for the waves of jutsu and chakra-based attacks slamming into Hayato? Most of them couldn't even tear through the outer layer of his skin.

Even the ones that managed to leave a cut would see that wound heal almost instantly. Hayato's power was pure nightmare fuel—like something out of hell. Terrifying. Hopeless.

"Damn it—Mangekyō Sharingan! Genjutsu Control!"

Under overwhelming pressure, and watching his comrades fall one after another like rag dolls, Uchiha Homura finally awakened the Mangekyō Sharingan.

The power of the Mangekyō Sharingan was legendary—so much so that it could even control tailed beasts. So as soon as Homura awakened it, he was thrilled beyond words. Without hesitation, he tried to cast genjutsu on Hayato using his Mangekyō Sharingan.

His pinwheel-like Sharingan spun rapidly as he launched the genjutsu straight at Hayato, trying to control his mind.

But Hayato, now fully Hulked-out, had nothing in his mind but pure rage—there wasn't even a sliver of space left for any other thoughts.

Homura tried to use his Sharingan to control him, but the second his jutsu touched Hayato's mind, he was immediately hit with an overwhelming storm of rage—something he could never have expected. And that fury began to backfire into Homura's own psyche.

Hayato might've lost his rational mind, but he could still sense when someone was trying to attack his soul. That just pissed him off even more. With a furious roar, he saw Homura's spinning eyes and sent a punch straight down.

BOOM!

Before Homura could even unleash the full power of his freshly awakened Sharingan, Hayato's punch had already smashed him to death.
