Chapter 49 - "Getting Stronger and Stronger."

"Heh, the power is really something else!" Even after being thrown away, Orochimaru chuckled lightly, his eyes flickering with a strange glow.

With a quick push off the ground, he lunged again toward Hayato: "Hidden Shadow Multi-Snake Hands!"

A swarm of snakes burst out from Orochimaru's arms, rushing at Hayato, trying to entangle him completely. Many of the snakes opened their mouths wide, baring sharp fangs and biting viciously at Hayato.

But Hayato's skin and defense were far beyond normal — the bites didn't even pierce his skin, and instead, the snakes themselves ended up breaking their own teeth.

"Roarrr!"

Though Orochimaru's attacks didn't cause much damage, the disgusting nature of the assault infuriated Hayato.

With a roar, he flexed his powerful arms and tore off the snakes wrapped around him. Then, crouching slightly, he pushed off with both feet. Boom! He soared high into the air, leaving a crater where he'd stood moments before.

Hayato's massive body slammed down on Orochimaru with a thud, pinning him underfoot and crushing him completely.

But the next moment, the crushed Orochimaru turned into a pile of dirt — it was just an earth clone; his real body wasn't there.

"Earth Release: Yellow Spring Swamp!"

On the other side, the real Orochimaru finished a jutsu, pressing his palm against the ground. Instantly, the spot where Hayato stood turned into a swampy bog.

As Hayato's body grew bigger, his weight naturally increased, and he began sinking rapidly.

Faced with this, Hayato let out a furious roar and struggled hard, trying to break free. His huge arms slammed furiously against the swamp beneath him, trying to leap out.

"What a savage brute. Good thing he loses his reason once he turns into a big guy — otherwise, he'd be a real problem!" Orochimaru smirked as he watched Hayato thrashing and wildly attacking the swamp.

Hayato kept fighting, his powerful blows barely slowing his descent into the Yellow Spring Swamp. Soon enough, his whole body was submerged except for his head sticking out.

Orochimaru grinned, confident that a mindless brute who only relies on physical attacks and doesn't know any ninjutsu couldn't escape this swamp.

But Hayato, frustrated by his helplessness against the swamp, roared in anger and suddenly his body swelled even bigger. His already giant frame grew taller, and with it came even greater strength.

"Roar!" Despite being stuck in the swamp with nothing to push off from, Hayato raised his massive fist — as big as a water tank — and slammed it down hard.

Boom!

Mud and yellow sludge flew everywhere as the swamp was smashed apart by pure force.

"Hm? His body just got even bigger and stronger? Looks like this swamp won't hold him for long." Orochimaru squinted, sticking his long snake-like tongue out to lick his lips.

"Alright, let's see just how far you can push yourself."

Bang bang bang!

Hayato's fists kept pounding the swamp, scattering mud everywhere and smashing it to pieces.

Then, with a thud, the nearly six-meter-tall giant leapt out of the Yellow Spring Swamp.

"Already this tall? Nearly six meters!" Orochimaru looked up at him in growing amazement, and a faint desire sparked in his eyes.

"Roar!" After jumping out, Hayato stomped the ground and charged like a tank straight at Orochimaru. Out of everyone here, he hated Orochimaru the most — he wanted to rip him apart.

"Fire Release: Fire Dragon Flame Bullet!"

"Water Release: Water Severing Wave!"

"Wind Release: Great Breakthrough!"

As Hayato charged, the other ninja panicked. A six-meter giant stomping forward caused the ground to tremble with every step. He looked like a monster.

They threw ninjutsu, shuriken, kunai, and all sorts of attacks at him.

But none of it worked — Hayato's skin wasn't even scratched. After growing bigger, his defense had become even stronger.

As he rushed forward, a casual swipe of his hand sent nearby ninja flying.

Those lucky enough to be hit were knocked back coughing up blood, sometimes still intact after dying; the unlucky ones were crushed so thoroughly there wasn't even a human shape left — just a bloody mess.
