Chapter 138 - Chapter 138: Staring hungrily

James practically dragged Noah out of Axel's apartment, ignoring the protests echoing down the hallway. Noah kept twisting his arm, demanding, "James, let me go!" but James' grip was firm, his jaw tight with determination. He pulled him into the elevator, ignoring the glare and weird look that jayvaughn they left behind at Axel's apartment door is looking at them with. The ride down was tense, Noah standing stiffly with his arm still trapped in James' hold.

When the doors opened onto James' floor, Noah tried one last time to yank his arm free. "I said let me go!"

James didn't listen. He was too caught up in the storm of frustration and desperation burning inside him. Without a word, he continued dragging Noah down the hall until they reached his apartment. He keyed in the passcode quickly, shoved the door open, and pulled Noah inside.
