Marlon could only sigh, his shoulders rising and falling heavily. "Fine," he said at last, his voice quiet but filled with a simmering determination. "I can only do that. But now that I'm thinking of getting revenge against K, I'm feeling fired up. I will give everything to pummel that bastard to the ground right now. So tell me, big brother, when are we starting?"
Axel, who was lying on the hospital bed with monitors softly beeping beside him, allowed a small smile to touch his lips. Despite the ache in his body and the tug of stitches reminding him of the bullet he had taken just yesterday, the idea of Marlon's fiery energy lifted his mood. "As soon as I get well, we can start immediately," he answered. His tone was calm, but there was a sharpness beneath it. "They will soon start their plan for Jayvaughn's company too. I want this whole Levo problem finished before the year ends. I don't want to carry an old problem into a new year. That's bad luck."
