Axel couldn't hold it in anymore. His brows drew together as he stared at Jayvaughn and asked bluntly, "Are you secretly a doctor, a psychologist, or maybe even a psychiatrist?"
Jayvaughn looked at him strangely, one eyebrow raised. "Wouldn't you know if I was all of that? Don't you think I would have told you?"
"Then how on earth did you come to the conclusion that I'm not healthy mentally if you're not a psychiatrist?" Axel asked, clearly unimpressed.
Jayvaughn sighed and tried to defend himself. "I'm not saying you're mentally unhealthy, Axel. I just mean you went through a lot. You were shot, you had surgery, and even if you look fine now, that kind of experience puts a strain on someone's mind. I don't want you to push your self too soon."
