Chapter 64 - C064 : Expedition (7)

Empress raised her brow at the comment the other animal person mentioned. If that's her assessment of his abilities, then even without transforming he already possesses- Her thoughts were interrupted as she saw the boy improving as monsters dropped like flies. "This isn't the dungeon, not to him. This is a playground." Her lips curled into a smirk as she giggled.

"Empress, if he can fight that well without any sort of real transformation, it makes me curious what he can pull off with one." The one werewolf from Hera familia commented, eyes glistened with an odd intrigue. "Under a full moon, no race stands a chance against a transformed werewolf."

"So long as they aren't too under leveled to begin with." Maxim scoffed.

"No shit, even so, that transformation is much closer to 2 level ups worth of power. A shame we can't use it down here."

"In that sense it's also the worst transformation." Zald chuckled.

Shurry's senses told him something was happening, so he paused his assault on the monsters and appeared, covered in monster blood, smiling curiously. "Um, what's wrong? Did I kill too many?" He asked, his hanging limp with the expectation of punishment.

"Nope, just those two punks said that our transformations are the worst ones since we can't use them in the dungeon-" The werewolf lady smirked pointing over to Maxim and Zald with her thumb.

Shurry tilted his head, clearly quite confused. "But, I can transform anytime. I just didn't yet since these monsters are easier to deal with than those Leviathan class girls."

Several of the high levels in the party had a spit take before laughing, the joke only being funny if one had prior knowledge of just how terrifying Amazonesses were to him.

The werewolf from Hera familia raised her brow, recalling the previous night. He was in a complete wolf form back then. Was that really the same skill? It couldn't be the same beastification skill that I have. If it is- "Then he is one rare birth for sure…" She finished her thoughts aloud. "Shurry, if you can truly beastify right now. Do it, and slaughter the monsters. Do it in 60 seconds and I'll buy you a seat at an all you can eat meat buffet when we get back to the surface. I know the perfect place for us werewolves."

Shurry's tail always gave away his emotions. "You promise! I can eat a whole lot! Until I'm full!? For real?!" His eyes basically sparkled as he pumped his fists.

What, can he possibly eat? Not more than me, surely not. It'll be fine. "Yep, They keep that place fully stocked."

Shurry's happy dance started, and a big, bright smile appeared. "Alright, you promised, then 60 seconds. Here… We… Go…!"

Shurry transformed into a full wolf form, continued his happy dance again, and then moved with speed anyone below level 5 couldn't even see. Most level 5s only saw a blur.

The pervy bunny boy was about to engage in combat with a pair of bug bears. "Ahahaha! Come at me, I shall slay you! Watch me closely, Meteria, as I slay the foes stilling your favorite treats." He smirked, and charged forward, only to see the monsters already dead, and turning to ash. "Huh"

"Ha, pervy bunny can't even hunt properly." Alfia said with an extreme judgmental glare, from beneath her eyelids. She managed to kill a couple of monsters before the speeding blur wisped by her control zone.

"Oh wow, sister, you're so cool! My turn!" Meteria cheered, hitting a few monsters that were about to hit the pervy bunny. I can't let those monsters hurt that boy… He's pervy, but he's cute.

"I probably should say a few prayers now…" Leon sighed.

"Huh? Why?"

"Because that wallet of yours is going to be empty after that promise."

"Wait, what do you mean?"

"That boy can eat mountains of meat like it's nothing. Especially if he's expended a bunch of energy like this." Leon chuckled, taking in the sight. "But I should thank you, he looks like he's having quite a bit of fun right now. It was a bit cramped on the ship so he didn't really have the room to run so freely."

The others all watched as the blur slew the helpless monsters, it was about as efficient as if any level 6 nearing their peak had taken action.

"Well, I'm used to it being expensive. I know a few good hunting spots so it shouldn't be too hard to make up the Valis."

Leon put a hand to his chin, and made a curious look.

Maxim noticed. "Hey, what's that look for?"

"Huh? Oh, I was just thinking, I think he's still holding back. He was a bit faster when we fought the Leviathan. I doubt a level 6 would be able to see his movements if he was actually trying. Or is it something else?"

"Oh that? Don't worry about it too much, our members are quite powerful. Each of them is strong enough to fight a whole level higher than themselves with just basic abilities. Some of us can even do two levels, though, that's a bit more annoying."

"I guess then it might just be my imagination. Perhaps it's a sign that I've improved a bit more too, I wonder?"

"Don't worry, it looks like he's wrapped it up."

Shurry appeared, his fur completely covered in monster blood, there were even some magic stones clinging to his body. He stopped and looked at everyone, with a light pant, tongue out and everything. His tail wagging so hard, some trees fell down, he was very excited to hear the result.

"Well, you cleared them all out in a matter of 57 seconds. So I'll uphold my end of the deal. For now though, you should get that blood off of you."

"Yay! Free all I can eat meat!!!!" Shurry cheered, transforming back to his normal humanoid, absolutely adorable self. The layer of blood covering him was so thick his skin looked crusty.

"There's a fresh water river not too far, but it's annoying, so I'll just use a washing spell." An elf said after getting a nod from Empress.

Soon, Shurry was all cleaned up and everyone could tell, he had a crazy amount of power at his disposal. What was more, it seemed like all that effort didn't exhaust him in the slightest.
