Chapter 92 - C092 : Hathor Familia's Return (2)

It was late in the afternoon when the Hathor familia's dungeon expeditionary team returned to the surface. They looked a little roughed up, but ultimately fine all around, no major injuries or losses. Nernatti, and Legi instantly ran off, away from the group, and towards their home.

"Hey! Where are you going?!"

""To make up for the lost daily dose of cuteness!"" The two dark elves replied, running off.

"Ugh, you could at least bring everyone with you." Bokhoir sighed, a deep and heavy sigh. "The two of you are with me for now. Everyone else can return home. The other injuries you have will be treated after the healers have recovered the mind… No, I think Shurry might be able to do it."

"Really!? Hehehe, everyone let's go, if we get in line we can make those two jealous."

"Yeah! Captain Nernatti makes cute expressions of her own when she gets jealous."

Everyone looked at the young man who said that, then laughed as all but three went to their home.

"Let's head to the guild and give them our report. But we should add that no one should enter that area for a while." Bokhoir sighed… How exactly am I supposed to explain this to the guild? Would they even believe me? The sight of a certain pack of wolves ran through his mind again.

"Haha… That was quite the surprise. A pack of wolves that large, and all of them seemed to fall in line the moment they smelled that tuft of fur Shurry gave us."

"Yeah… About that, it was like they'd set up a way to keep themselves clean and proper too. Only a few of them had any issues with cleanliness… And those may have been the new members of the pack who recently joined them."

"Let's not speculate on this anymore. It'll only bring up more questions than answers. Though, one thing is certain, he is without a doubt, the strongest member of our familia. And it is definitely not close. Even so, I want to see just where his strength truly lies, and with my own eyes."

Bokhoir and his little three-man cell went to the guild, though instead of just their usual representative, there were a couple of changes, the guild master, and a girl that resembled some of the features of the third person, an adult, both were werewolves.

The usual rep began speaking. "Achem, I know that you're used to dealing with me, however, the guild master Royman has asked me to include these two as well."

"Not a good move, guild master." Bokhoir crossed his arms ready for the potential fight of intimidation. "You good and well there must be an equal or greater number of familia members in these settings, than the guild. Are you trying to embarrass us? Perhaps I'll make certain none of you can dine in our familia's establishments." He glared.

"It's not like that, besides one of us is still a child. If you wish, I can wait until you find someone to even this out?" Royman suggested. I knew this was a gamble, but I too want to see that boy again.

He wants to see Shurry again? But what business does he have with him? Bokhoir looked at the two werewolves in the room, his sense as a high level 3 were tingling. So that's how it is? "Doing this in such a roundabout way, it's almost like you really are trying to embarrass us. What would people say if we had to rely on a child to even the playing field here?" He sighed, and got serious, putting out a little bit of pressure. "What is it you want with our young werewolf?"

Royman, annoyed by the accusations, though he couldn't really say Bokhoir was wrong, inwardly grit his teeth, and bore the embarrassment he was suffering. "The guild is interested in assigning some specific quests that came along recently-"

"Then send a mission letter to him? It's not that hard." Bokhoir stood up. "Until this issue is resolved, I'll consider our mission complete." The other two with him opened the door and left, just as he was about to leave… He turned to give a warning. "Oh, and before I forget, Steer clear of the under garden's dense forest. Bad things will happen if people go there. Designate it as a zone only for the likes of Zeus or Hera familias, or something like that. Even level 5s would get chewed up there… Seriously, don't even think about sending someone there." He finished, and left.

"I just want him to pay for eating out their stock!" Rose began to cry, and then ran off to do her own thing.

"Guild master… I know it's not the best way to say it, but I did tell you this would happen."

"If there were more quests it would be easy to assign them. But Hathor familia isn't an exploration familia, they simply have an arm of their familia that traverses it for the sake of doing it."

"If I may, Guild master, could we just send her along with the next inspection team? Rose needs the experience anyways."

"At this point, she could be the one to deliver the apology letter. And get their report on the matter of the under garden… How'd they even reach it, when Ganesha couldn't?"

Just then a Zeus familia member came in, he was a level 6. "I can give you a small tidbit, but only enough to push you into apologizing." He said.

"Oh, sir, please do."

"Alpha."

"Huh?

"What does that mean?"

The lone werewolf was silent, wide eyed, and also trying to hide her expression, but the tail and ears betrayed her. "Are you speaking the truth?"

The level 6 smirked. "Lyca was right, it seems all noble werewolves act the same way upon hearing that." He chuckled. "Anyway, later! Oh, and do your best to not, piss off the Hathor familia either. It'll anger him, and us by extension." He waved with his back turned, and the door closed shut.

"An actual Alpha was born, and he's here in this city?! Guild master quickly apologize! I want to see this boy immediately."

"Is it really that serious?"

"IT'S BEEN MORE 1000 YEARS SINCE THE LAST ONE! OF COURSE IT'S SERIOUS!" She shouted, thankful the door was shut. "You have no idea… Right, under the full moon, there isn't a race that could hope to stand as a werewolf's equal. And alpha is that, but all the time, and even more under the moon! A real life legend, who wouldn't want to meet him!?" She then left the room and whispered the news to her daughter, Rose.

"WHAT!? Is it really true, mother?!"

"I think so, but we have to see to be certain."
