Arriving together, Ardee & Shurry were welcomed home with a big hug from Hathor herself. "Welcome home my children." She smiled, holding the two close and snuggly. Releasing the hug, she crouched and continued smiling, placing a hand on Ardee's belly. "And of course you too, my grandchild. May you keep your mother glowing as radiant as she is now." Standing back up she hugged them both again. "I'm so happy for you."
"We're happy too Mother Hathor. I'm sure my mother would have been happy as well." Ardee smiled, with a clear blush, still slightly embarrassed.
"I'm sure she would, Ardee. Your mother had long since given her blessing to the two of you."
"Alright, Shurry! Way to go! You're gonna be a daddy now yourself. How's it feel?"
"Indescribably warm." He replied to the others already drinking.
"Ahahaha! There it is, the boy's all grown up."
Hathor huffed, and put her hands to her sides. "I don't care about that, he's still my little boy, and always will be! Now, to prove that, you're coming with me."
A rather warm bath together later, Hathor, Ardee, and Shurry were in the private room. Shurry's vest hung on the back of a chair, and his back completely exposed. Ardee watched, and waited.
"Shurry… My son. You've grown a lot since the last time you leveled up. I'm constantly impressed by your ability, and your willingness to share this knowledge with your wife."
"She should know just how strong I am. And there's no secrets between us."
"Pfft, you heard that Ardee, isn't he just the best?"
"Yes! I love him more than words can say. I'm excited to meet our child. I wonder if they'll be a boy, or maybe a girl?" Ardee's voice changed a few times as her excitement, and anticipation got the better of her.
"Well, alright then. I was planning on showing you his full status anyway. But it's good to know the two of you have already been sharing some information… Shurry, you've done it again, there's more than enough to fill your status and level up. Do you want me to do it? Or keep waiting?"
"Do it."
"Here goes."

The change in Shurry's status from level 7, to level 8 was so much stronger than any other level before it. He didn't gain any more than the normal 300 points per ability, it was rather how much those combined with the 2000 he earned, actually did.
All points give a little extra with each next point, and is the reason why getting as many of them as possible is incredibly important. The result will always result in a 3 to 1 difference. So, as strong as Shurry had become through other means, he just got magnified by 3 times. In short, he got way stronger.
People in the immediate household felt the change in his soul, there were some people near the Hathor familia home who stumbled a bit as they felt the sudden change in pressure, one that disappeared as soon as it appeared.
Bokhoir, still on gaud duty, felt the change, his lips curled into a smirk. "He did it, reaching level 8 is no joke. I wonder if he'll let me go in the dungeon for a while this time. I'm curious to see if I can level up again. But, perhaps not… As bad as Evilus is, they aren't as bad as what Shurry's constantly fighting against down there. I guess, here's hoping everything will be fine for our future." He took a swig of his spice water. "It would be better if I had an ale, but this'll have to do for now. Cheers to you Shurry. Congratulations on making level 8."

The Freya familia's Ottar, still known as King only so people could call it out super sarcastically, felt the change as well.
"I still don't know what it was that you meant? What battles could you have fought to reach such heights, and so fast?"
"What are you murmuring about over there?"
"Nothing important, I think…"
"Same old thoughtlessly rough response as always."

Loki familia, Loki was the only one who felt it. And she busted out laughing, showing just how loose she can really be while drunk.
"Finn, I usually wouldn't say anything, but I suppose I should now. You know, Origin Wolf?"
"Yes, the level 7 member of Hathor familia that personally introduced all of us to the ground."
"Wrong… the level 8 member…"
Finn's world began spinning, his vision crumbling as the single word, a humble single digit number played on repeat in his mind. "Eight… Eight… Eight…" He uttered in a rare moment of utter hopelessness he continued… "We're finished."
"Hey! We aren't done yet, we just need to deal with Evilus to make up for what happened." Dain shouted.
"Huh?"
"That's right, accepting defeat here, isn't like you. Just figure out how to deal with Evilus and then we can handle things from there."
"But, level 8… If he really comes after us, we're screwed. We'd be better off surrendering right away to avoid the younger members being slaughtered as well. Surely Raul and Ana Kitty wouldn't be attacked, but even still the chance of that happening…"
"Then, let us reorganize and attempt to assault Evilus' bases. We could smoke them out by attacking the general area?"
"No, we know where their bases are, we just can't get to them because the doors are made of Orichalcum."
"Hey Loki, you think a level 8 could smash through those doors?"
"Maybe, but he'd have to be really ticked off to do it. And that's a delicate balance if you know what I mean."
"So we can't use our strongest weapon against Evilus, to deal a direct blow on them… This is not easy. Say, Loki, why isn't he fighting Evilus?"
"Huh? Hmm, my best guess is he's buying time… I really can't say any more than that though."
"Alright. Let's figure something out."

Back in the private room, Hathor finished making Shurry's status sheet, and handed it to him. "You are the very first person to ever achieve this, you should be proud of yourself son." She handed another sheet to Ardee. "This is his full status with everything calculated out for you to see."
