Chapter 173 - C173 : Moving Miach Familia

Blue Pharmacy, the home to a mid rank familia, Miach's to be specific. There were familia members dashing all over the place, gathering up all of their supplies, however the sheer volume they had to move was simply too much, and so with the aid of everyone's friendly neighborhood familia for justice, they had a few extra hands to help guard the materials as trips to and from Bable were made.

He came out of his home, carrying a box of ingredients, placing it in a cart while some in his familia continued packing. "Thanks for the help, ladies. I really appreciate it." Miach said, to the two elves, and a single werewolf standing guard outside.

"No need to thank us too much, It just happened that we were on our way here to pick up supplies for what's coming." The ever serious elf Ryuu stated, clearly keeping her guard up.

"Even so-"

"Don't worry about it Lord Miach, Lady Astraea said we should help whenever needed. This seemed important. And something he would do too." The werewolf sighed, still a little irked that she missed her chance with him. Where did I go wrong? Should I have joined Hathor familia that day? No, I can't think like that, these girls are my sisters.

"I don't mind, I'm grateful that you're willing to help at all."

A little girl carrying a small box stepped out of the house. "Papa? What's taking you so long? We have to get moving right? You said so yourself?" She had brown hair, purple eyes, a pair of dog ears drooping down over her hair, and a fluffy tail trailing behind her.

"Naaza, you're supposed to help the others with packing." Miach said.

"I wanted to see what was taking you so long. And-" Naaza stopped once she saw the werewolf. Briskly walking to the cart and placing the box down, she turned, and childishly grabbed the werewolf's hand. "Miss, uh… Uhm, my name is Naaza Erisuis. What's your name?"

"Aren't you pretty, my name is Neze." She crouched down to rub the younger girl's head, she put on a smile that only someone truly strong could wear when knowing what was coming. "Do you have a question for me?"

Naaza, having almost lost herself in the headrub, snapped back with a bright expression, full of anticipation, shyly holding her hands near her cheeks as she spoke up. "Are- are you friends with Origin Wolf? I think he's super cool!"

"Pfft, I actually am, he's saved my life before, when I was a little younger than you are now. He's super strong."

"So, uhm, why is he not here now?"

"There's something else he has to take care of right now. And it's something only he has the ability to deal with."

"Really? I wanna be a great healer like he is one day!"

"He's more than a healer… He's at least in my case, not only my pack's alpha, but also my hero."

Miach's spine quivered at the idea of the word Neze just spoke… Specifically, it happened twice, once was filled with terror, and then secondly filled with immense respect. "Hey Naaza, could you go back inside and continue helping out?"

"Huh? Oh yeah! Are you coming too?"

"In just a moment." Miach waived off the question, then watched as Naaza ran back inside. "Neze, I want to make sure I heard you correctly, can you say what Origin Wolf is to you again?"

"He's my pack's Alpha, but also my hero." She said, then noticed the god flinching. "Well, it's not so much my pack as it is his."

"Alpha…" Miach muttered as he began to recall conversations he had with several of the gods in Tenkai, and some all about the situations there were in Tenkai. His eyes widened. "How many Alphas have there been?"

"I don't know?" Neze shrugged, a little curiosity in her tone. "But I know that he's the first one in over 1000 years."

"I see, thanks for answering."

"Is there something wrong with that?"

"No, I was just curious about something is all. Please pay it no mind."

"Are you sure about that? Because it sounded pretty seri-"

"Hey, we're back, all of the stuff was brought over, and Lady Hephaestus smiths were helping out to make the unloading way easier." An ever bright Alise smiled as the now empty cart returned with a clearly exhausted horse… Well, it was really just a level 3 of the Miach familia completely out of stamina now that he'd hauled the cart back and forth a couple times.

Miach took that opportunity to get out of the series of questioning. "Welcome back. We're almost done loading the next cart, so why don't you take a little break."

"Sounds great, it's good to switch things up a bit here and there. Neze, want to swap with me this time? I think it's better for me to be out here than where there's a bunch of strong adventurers gathered."

Neze, unable to disagree with that sentiment, sighed. "Fine, I suppose you're right about that. Maybe I'll get lucky, and I can see Shurry come up from the dungeon early."

"I'm afraid I don't think that's going to be likely. If my intuition is correct," Miach started, getting a few giggles when he questioned his own divine intuition. "He'll be busy for quite a while… If the guild sent him down on an emergency basis, it's not something that will be resolved so easily. In fact, he might even level up from it, if my guess about his growth rate is at least somewhat accurate."

"Oh don't be like that, Lord Miach, let the girl dream about riding the man she wants." Alise giggled in response.

"Hey! I'm not going to be a homewrecker like that!" Neze said, in a rather quick fashion.

"Oh don't be so serious, you know I'm just joking with you. But what would you do if they asked you to join them?"

"I wouldn't hesitate to get wild with them." The moment she answered, she blushed a red color almost as deep as Alise' hair.

"Oh wow, I knew it. You want him."

"It's basically baked into my being, stop making fun of me about it."

"So how many puppies do you want?"

"10!" She instantly replied, though she tried to hide her frustration about the teasing, her tail was way more truthful of how she really felt.

Miach simply chuckled, and smiled. "It's good to see you all having fun. Thanks again for all the help. I'll make sure to properly reward you." He then proceeded inside to continue packing the place up. Alpha… Is he, no, he couldn't be… Could he? I'll have to ask Hephaestus what she thinks. Wait, his magic was able to heal her… He tried his best to keep calm on the surface, but his mind was racing.
