Chapter 274 - C274 : Tsugunai In Telskyura

Aboard the Tsugani, in the navigation & control room, Freya looked out at the smokey fight taking place on the deck below. She swirled a smaller than average glass of wine, and took a sip. She almost winced at the flavor. Loki noticed the reaction and almost giggled but remembered how much she missed her own special soma… still, she noticed that Freya had noticed her noticing the reaction, and thus had to say something.

"How's the wine, Freya?" Loki asked, with a half annoyed tone, then refocused to look at the map they were using for navigation.

"It's fine, I just need to acquire a taste for it, I suppose. Well, it isn't what I'm used to, but then again, nothing is. Besides, if this is the cost of my freedom from Orario, then I think I'll manage." Freya said, with a half swirl of the wine, and then turned to look at Loki. "By the way, what exactly are you staring at?"

Loki didn't answer, she instead waited a moment in deep thought. "Freya, aren't you curious about that young man?"

"How so?" Freya asked, realizing who the subject of discussion was.

"What was it like where he came from? What were his origins? What was it that really gave him the strength needed to become a demi-god on his own?"

"Pfft, Loki, his soul is identical to Fenrir's. The difference in scale is minimal at most, and none at least. Lycanthra did some good work with that divine beast's soul… as for him becoming a demi-god, that wasn't surprising, rather I'd expect that much from Fenrir, wouldn't you?" She sipped her wine again.

"Either way, I think it would be a good idea to take a detour. It will be dangerous for us, given the men in our familias, but there's someone we need to meet."

"You want to go somewhere?"

"Bara mentioned that he was born in Telskyura. She's confirmed that in multiple ways now. So…"

"You want to go see Kali? You're crazy, but I think it will be fine. There's absolutely no way they have anyone nearly as strong as him. I'm sure our children can handle anything that might happen." She added, finishing her wine.

"Riveria, alter course, we're heading to Telskyura to get some answers."

"Lady Loki, is that really a good idea? We are supposed to be redeeming ourselves. Not going on crazy detours to look into his past." She asked, borderline annoyed by the tone.

"Please mama? For me?"

Riveria sighed, and rubbed the bridge of her nose in an attempt to stave off the headache… it didn't work. She stared at Loki's pleading eyes for a while before finally letting out a heavy, exasperated sigh.

"As long as you explain this to Finn and the others, fine. Otherwise I'll drink your soma."

"What?!"

Freya giggled… Riveria moved and began changing some of the controls. The floating ship, Tsugunai, turned abruptly causing the endless fight on the deck below to pause for a moment, before recovering and continuing.

"I hope you know what you're doing, Loki. I'm not taking the fall for this one."

"Awe don't be like that Mama, remember they never spoke about what the demands were in the event we end up heading to Tenkai by accident."

Riveria's lips curled inward, almost biting them. "That's fine, I can already imagine what it is going to be like. And I'd rather not think about it."

The Tsugunai now took a pause from its mission, making a course straight over the land to the place of his beginning… the birthplace of the age's hero, Telskyura. The constant fighting below grew more serious with every passing moment, each executive knew where they were headed, there was only one place it could be after all. Knowing this information, they pushed themselves harder, faster, stronger…

It was two weeks later when they arrived at the heavily defended borderline. None had ever seen such a massive army made entirely out of Amazoness. It gave the men a tinge of worry about heading any further into the land known as the holy land to all Amazoness. It was at this time Bara left the endless fight, got treated by the likes of the Andhrimnir healers… With how their fates were all intertwined now, they might as well have all been a single familia.

In one of their update rooms, Bara had her status updated by Loki, and looked over by Freya. Both goddesses seemed to have a conversation between their eyes, that or they both realized that Bara was their key.

"Bara, you know what needs to be done now, right?" Loki asked, as she continued writing the status down for her child to read.

"Yeah, I get it. Holy Land of my race and all, not hard to guess what you want from me. Just, I'm not even sure the rumors I've heard are even true. If they are, I have no way of knowing how true they really are." Bara explained, looking at her status sheet. She didn't even bother getting excited about one number incrementing up by one, compared to what she's seen now, level 6 might as well be a doormat, and that was being overly generous.

"Just do your best, dear, that's all you can do. Do a good job and perhaps you'll be rewarded." Freya teased, with a seductive stroke of her fingers upon Bara's cheek.

"That's not fair Lady Freya, your charms are so strong… I prefer a man's company, but you make me question what a woman's would be like."

"That's an easy reward, do good alright."

A few moments later, with a new level 6, Bara… the Tsugunai creeped just a little bit closer to the border, and then it passed the line of action, initiating a full and immediate response. Thousands of Amazoness charged for the vessel like they were going in for the kill, or at least to capture.

The region's leader, Belnas, jumped up, and boarded the ship. She was heavily confident in her strength, however, that all shattered the moment she witnessed the hellish battle going on, instead, a gigantic puddle appeared on the floor beneath her, and several other Amazoness.

"My name is Belnas, I am in charge of this area- Such raw manliness. Give us your seed and maybe we can discuss your purpose here."

"I guess some rumors were indeed true. I suppose being here might make it hard to suppress those urges. I am Bara, an executive of the Tsugunai's familias. I have come to see my people's Holy Land."
