However, when we reached there, terror took over my nerves. As a Lycan Beta, I had been to many wars, but never in my life had I come across a sight where we had to watch the beating heart of a live creature.
I did see Jai racing towards Aurora, but I only expected him to save her by pushing her or holding her hand so that they could run to a safe space.

Yet, still, I would never trust him.
As a Lycan Beta, I always got negative vibes from him, and I did respect him for the way he saved Aurora.
After all, she was not only a head warrior but the queen of Velmora Kingdom. We were indebted to him.
