Aurora:
My face…
It was back!
My beautiful face was staring back at me. I covered my mouth with my palm and tried to ignore the stinging behind my eyes.
Oh, Goddess!
"It's a miracle!" I told Amora in a teary voice. She had been smiling ever since I returned.
"Not a miracle but magic, dear. And you're so beautiful. I've never seen a beautiful girl like you, Aurora. And now I understand why Sebastian was so crazy about you."
I chuckled and wiped a single tear off my face.
"I …" I looked around, "I'll be needing the mask to cover myself, Amora."
She wanted to say something, but I shook my head, "I'm not ready to let anyone see this face. Not now. Once Jai is healthy, I can take the spotlight. Right now, he is more important to me."
She nodded in understanding, and the smile on her face faltered a little, "Have you chosen a third spot for yourself?"
I thought hard.
"What if I go back to yesterday's events and save Jai?" I suggested.
