Chapter 210

Roger Davies was listening to Fleur Delacour's speech, and his face had an expression of extreme confusion, to the extent that he misplaced his mouth more than once while eating, so Albert concluded that Davies was too busy looking at Fleur than being concerned with anything she was saying, so he quickly said, "Exactly... you are certainly right."

Albert looked around and found Hagrid sitting at the faculty table, his hair back to its previous appearance, wearing his brown suit, and staring at the table where the judges were sitting. Albert saw him wave briefly, and when he turned around, he found Madame Maxime returning his greeting.

At the same time, the girl with the Durmstrang boy was teaching the boy how to pronounce her name correctly, so she spelled the name for him syllable by syllable, and he repeated it after her.

After the meal ended, Dumbledore stood up and asked the students to do the same, then he gestured with his wand, and the tables retreated towards the walls, leaving an empty space in the middle. Then a raised platform appeared on the right wall, lined up with a group of musical instruments, and the Weird Sisters band entered amidst the applause of the students, wearing black clothes, and each one of them headed to hold her instrument. While Albert was watching them, he forgot what he was about to do and suddenly remembered that he would open the dance when the lights went out, and Hermione whispered to him, "Come on... we are supposed to start dancing."

When Albert stood up, he saw that Ron Weasley had started dancing with another girl, and not Padma, who was supposed to accompany him in the dance.

Hermione saw that and said, "Huh?! Is that Lavender?! What is she doing with Ron!? Wasn't he supposed to be with Padma?!"

Albert was also surprised, but he ignored that.

Meanwhile, the band began to play a calm tune, and he headed with Hermione towards the lit dance floor, and within a minute, he was holding Hermione's hands and began to dance.

It was not long before many people began to join the dance to surround the champions. Next to Albert, Neville was dancing with Ginny, and Dumbledore was dancing with Madame Maxime... As for Moody, he was performing strange steps opposite Professor Sinistra, who was trying to avoid his wooden leg with clear nervousness.

In the middle of the large hall, full of dancers swaying to the tunes of sophisticated music, Albert Black and Hermione Granger appeared as if they were stars shining in the sky.

Everyone was enjoying the beautiful entry into the dance, but no one expected this duo to unite in a breathtaking dance.

Albert stood in an elegant black suit, brimming with confidence, while Hermione shone in a charming dress that flowed like silk with every movement. As soon as the music reached its peak, silence crept into the hall, as if time had stopped. Their movements were harmonious, as if they were speaking a private language that only those watching this captivating performance understood.

They twirled among the dancers with lightness and grace, moving as if they were part of the melody itself, leaving a light and wonderful impression on the floor. With every spin, eyes followed them with astonishment and admiration, disbelieving this harmony that was almost magical. Hermione, who was always known for her seriousness, showed a different side full of vitality and beauty, while Albert added a mysterious and distinctive character to their movements.

The moment they jumped together in the air, as if they were flying, was the climax that amazed everyone. The music slowly returned to its end, and with the last note, they stopped in the middle of the hall, surrounded by warm applause and unprecedented fascination.

And when Moody approached him, he said to him, looking with his magical eye, "A wonderful and astonishing dance, Albert."

Albert answered him, wanting to see fear on Moody's face, "Thank you, Professor Moody... but why do I smell Polyjuice Potion on you?!"

Moody's face shrank, and he began to feel panic for a moment, his face pale and his hands trembling. But Moody, with a stern look and a steady tone, continued, "No need to worry, I was just making Polyjuice Potion for some experiments, and that explains the smell." Moody tried to sound calm, but he could not completely hide his tension, while Hermione felt that there was something suspicious behind these excuses.

On the other side, Harry felt happy after finishing his dance safely without any problem, as he had been thinking intensely since the beginning of the ball about whether he would face a problem in dancing or not.

Harry heard the signal for the end of the tune, so he sighed in relief as the musicians stopped playing and everyone clapped. Harry immediately left Parvati, then said to her, "Let's sit down."

But Parvati said, "But the next piece is really beautiful," and the tune this time was faster and carried more rhythms, so Harry lied, "I don't like it," then he led her away from the dance floor and headed towards the table where Ron was sitting with Lavender, who was wearing a charming light yellow dress, reflecting her beauty and vitality. The dress was characterized by a princess cut, being tight at the top with sparkling silver embroidery on the chest, and flowed down with a wide skirt of silky chiffon that moved lightly with every step. The sleeves of the dress were short and decorated with soft edges, and she completed her look with a transparent shawl that draped softly over her shoulders, which added a touch of sophistication and elegance to her.

Harry glanced at Ron, then quickly glanced at Lavender, who was also looking at Ron shyly!

Ron spoke, saying to Harry, "How are things?"

Harry answered him, sitting next to Ron, "Things are good. It was a beautiful dance! Did you see Albert's dance with Hermione?! They truly amazed me!"

Ron answered, looking in the direction of his brother Percy, "I bet they have been practicing the dance for a while! Maybe the reason for their recent absence is evidence of my words!!"

Harry answered, saying, "Maybe you are right, Ron! But we must ask them about that!"

Amidst the atmosphere of the Great Hall, which was skillfully decorated for this magical night, Professor McGonagall stood near the platform, wearing her elegant robe and her glasses that reflected the glow of the candles in the air. In her clear voice, full of prestige, she called out, "Three champions! Please join us here in the middle of the dance floor, accompanied by your partners, to take a group photo worthy of this exceptional occasion." The voice echoed throughout the hall, and the attendees enthusiastically turned towards the three.

Albert Black stepped forward first with confident steps and a smile on his face, accompanied by Hermione Granger, who looked radiant in her wonderful pink dress, which made eyes linger on her.

Following them, Fleur Delacour stepped forward in her shimmering silver dress, holding her partner's hand with a gentle smile full of confidence. As for Viktor Krum, he entered with Parvati Patil, who shone in her vibrant dress.

They stopped in the middle of the hall under the gaze of everyone, surrounded by an atmosphere of excitement and pride. McGonagall carefully arranged them to take the photo that would become a timeless memory of this great event. Everyone smiled as the magical light ignited to capture the moment, while the sound of applause echoed in the hall.
