Chapter 3 - Chapter 3: The CEO's Dangerous Game

Yin Zhang straightened his tie in the elevator mirror, unaware his life was about to detonate.

This was just another pitch. At least, that's what he told himself as the doors slid open to **Trade Sprint's executive floor**.

Then he saw her.

Zhou Luong—the legendary DRAGON CEO—froze mid-sentence, her teacup hovering an inch from lips that had just parted in shock. The file in her hands slipped, papers scattering like fallen petals.

"Madam, are you alright?" Yin lunged forward to help, his fingers brushing hers as they both reached for the same document.

A spark. A jolt.

Luong jerked back as if burned. "N-Nothing! Please, sit." Her usual razor-sharp voice wavered—something no one in this building had ever witnessed.

**The Proposal (AND THE TRAP)**

Yin delivered his presentation flawlessly, but Luong barely heard a word. All she could focus on:

🔥The way his thumb tapped the tablet screen when he explained data points (*confident*).

🔥The single undone button at his collar (*careless*).

🔥That *damnable scent*—sandalwood and something dangerously warm.

As he stood to leave, she blurted: "Where do you live?"

Silence.

Yin's eyebrow arched. "…Běijīng's East District, Madam Zhou."

*Idiot!* She scrambled for cover: *"We're… hosting an innovation summit. Your sector has ideal demographics."* Liar. Liar. **Liar.**

"Of course." Yin's smile didn't reach his eyes. *"Shall we discuss it over coffee tomorrow? 3PM, Golden Pheasant Café?"*

**He'd turned her own trap against her.**

**The Aftermath: Office Gossip Explodes**

Li Shiyi, Luong's assistant, collapsed into giggles the second the door closed. *"Oh my god. The great Zhou Luong just *imploded* over a man!"*

"Quiet!" Luong hissed, fanning her burning face.

"Please. You *invited him out* using the worst excuse in corporate history." Shiyi smirked. *"Face it, CEO Zhou…"*

She leaned in, whispering the words that would haunt Luong all night:

"You're absolutely smitten."
