Chapter 7 - AN END,A BEGINNING

After the embrace, both Alya and Altar went to their homes, spending the night thinking about each other. This situation remained unchanged for the remaining 3 days. Finally, they reached the last day. Only five souls remained to be collected, and everyone had already collected one. They decided to meet at 9 PM. Alya had chosen a shopping mall, Kaya a school, Damla and Deniz a park, and Altar an old, abandoned house. They all set off, and the final journey began.

Alya was the first to start her task. Being the most familiar with the situation, she completed it without difficulty. Damla and Deniz were the next to finish. Then it was Altar and Kaya's turn. Kaya's task was the most difficult since he couldn't enter the school without permission. He considered waiting for the school to close, but the soul being there meant that the children were in danger. After scanning the area, Kaya found a blind spot where there were no cameras and no one around. He jumped over the wall, activated the device, and began his search. Meanwhile, Altar had just arrived. He found a huge three-story mansion, about the size of two houses, with black and white doors, and mostly wooden, white-detailed architecture. He slowly pushed the door open, stepped inside, and turned on his device. He was immediately greeted by a garden that looked like a forest. He walked towards the entrance of the house, and just walking through the garden was tiring. The device didn't beep, so he entered the house without scanning the garden. The interior was as luxurious as the outside, with dim lighting. As night was approaching, Altar turned on his flashlight and started to explore. He heard a noise from upstairs, and the device started beeping. He rushed upstairs and began searching, but he found nothing. The light inside was dimming, and the place was becoming more eerie. This unsettled Altar, but he didn't give up. As he moved forward, he heard another noise and called out, "Is anyone there?" A creaking noise followed from behind, and Altar turned toward it...

Meanwhile, Kaya had already captured the soul, but he couldn't leave the school until that time. As it was evening, he tried to walk around unnoticed. However, he couldn't escape from Cemre, a trainee. Cemre asked him what he was doing there. To buy some time, Kaya answered her question with a question of his own, asking her the same thing. Cemre, being a trainee, answered and waited for Kaya's reply. Kaya asked why she was there at that hour. Cemre explained that a file had gotten mixed up, and since it had the professor's name on it, she might have left it in the professor's locker. She asked Kaya the same question again. Kaya muttered that he was also a trainee and was there for the same reason. They chatted for a while, and then agreed to meet again before parting ways. Altar, although in a similarly difficult situation, was perhaps facing an even more challenging one. He was certain he had heard a noise behind him, but when he looked, there was nothing. He went into a room, closed the door behind him due to the sound, and searched. While searching, he noticed a shadow under the door. Initially, he thought it was an illusion and rubbed his eyes, but the shadow remained. Summoning his courage, Altar opened the door and found himself in a large, dark corridor, all alone. At the end of the corridor, the shadow turned and he followed. From that direction, he began to hear crying sounds and disturbing laughter. Altar walked towards the room and stopped in front of the door. He hesitated to enter but couldn't shake the thought that someone might be hurt. After a moment, he opened the door. The room was empty and dark. At that moment, the device went crazy, beeping loudly, and laughter echoed from everywhere. But the house was empty. Altar checked his phone, but it was completely dead. He sank to the floor, covering his eyes with his hands. He could feel a shadow approaching him with every passing second. Just as it seemed to be within breathing distance, the feeling disappeared. When he pulled his hand away from his eyes, he saw Kaya. Kaya explained that the entity he had encountered was the leader of the souls, and he had imprisoned it just like the others. When Altar stood up, Alya and the others entered. Altar and Alya hugged tightly, just like before. Kaya had a mischievous grin on his face. Afterward, Altar asked why they had come. Alya replied that it was already 9 o'clock, and they were concerned about him. It was clear from her face. By then, it was already 11 PM, and without wasting any time, they went to the empty plot of land where they had hoped the incident would begin and end. Alya emphasized that to make the souls leave for good, they needed to do the opposite of the steps they had taken earlier. Altar, looking worried, asked if she would be trapped with them as well. Alya said she didn't know, which filled Altar with a fear he had never felt before. By the time they arrived, half an hour had passed, and Kaya said they had to start. Finally, they began. It took them quite some time. It was 11:59 PM, and they had only seconds left. At the final step, as Altar spoke the letter "S," Alya placed her finger on his lips and said, "I know." With Kaya's move, the instructions were completed, and the incredible light from the beginning appeared again. They all checked on each other, and Altar was looking for Alya... After five minutes, he felt a hand on his shoulder. It was Alya. The awaited kiss had finally happened. Everyone took a deep breath, and they all promised to meet here again exactly one year later.

A year had passed. During this time, Alya's killer had been sent to prison by Deniz and Damla. Altar had graduated from the academy and started pursuing his dream job as an actor abroad. Kaya, on the other hand, took his content creation to the next level by sharing the infamous video. The long-awaited reunion was about to happen. Everyone gathered, including Kaya, his girlfriend Cemre, Deniz, and Damla. Finally, Alya arrived last. Her eyes searched for Altar but couldn't find him. Then she was shocked by what she saw. In front of her, there was a large banner that read, "Will You Marry Me?" On the ground, just like last year, was a circle, and the same book lay there. The circle was filled with red roses. From behind, Altar approached, kneeled, and spoke, saying, "The owner of my heart and soul." He picked up the book from the ground and opened it. (The inside was empty, and instead of the instructions, it was filled with blank pages.) He said, "Will you fill these pages with our memories? Will you marry me?" The answer was an enthusiastic "YES, YES, YES!" And so, Alya and Altar's souls finally reunited.
